Bad design the knob on lid gets very hot when boiling. Should include a H&S warning. Saucepan fine apart from this issue. Would have return but unfortunately I used the pan.

I recently bought the 14cm version of this pan and was very impressed by the quality, ease of use, quick heating with copper base and a lovely tactile handle. The 16 cm saucepan also demonstrates these attributes and is usefully deeper as well as slightly wider. While the lid knob can become hot (just take care) the handle remains cool. A pleasure to use and excellent value.

Just used the pan to make tangzhong for my Japanese milk bread (Hokkaido)). It performed perfectly and it heated up far quicker on the hob than my old pans so it used less energy; I presume it is the copper base. If you are a bread maker, try this bread as it is absolutely delicious, light and fluffy.

Lids become incredibly hot and could burn your hand. Would have returned item but have disposed of packaging
