This is described on the website as being new and a cappuccino cup. However it turned out to be neither of these things -it is the same dependable large Maxim cup and saucer that have been available for several years. It holds about 350cl -a cappuccino cup would normally be about three quarters of that figure. It is fine as cup for Americano but not for cappuccino .

Really disappointed as this is described as a cappuccino cup and ‘new’ but is exactly the same as the ordinary cup and saucer purchased before.

I bought these cups and saucers to replace similar Maxim ones bought a few years ago, some of which I dropped and broke. The quality is still the same, but unfortunately these are much larger than the previous ones. For reference, these cups have top diameter 10.6cm and height 7.4cm; the saucers have a diameter of 17.4cm. (As a comparison, my previous Maxim cups were: top diameter: 8.9cm, height: 6.5cm; saucer diameter: 16.1cm). I can still use these cups, but I still prefer the previous size.
